New Job opening: Lighting Technician – September 2025
As a technician, you will share responsibility for the technical production and realization of all projects, both in-house and on tour, as well as technical support in the studio. We are looking for a third all-round technician specializing in lighting to strengthen our technical team. Tasks are always well distributed within the team. You will work both in our studio complex in Brussels and while on tour.
What the Body Does Not Remember - Revival coming in 2026
In 1987, Wim Vandekeybus created What the Body Does Not Remember with his newly founded company Ultima Vez. Not immediately labelled as dance, the piece redefined the field and earned the prestigious Bessie Award in New York for its “brutal confrontation of dance and music.”

Wim Vandekeybus will be starting the creation of 'VOID' in May!
In this new creation, Vandekeybus embraces the void – even more so – he seeks it out. He starts anew, goes back to square one, taking the simple emptiness as a starting point to arrive at a new form of awareness. He not only seeks to feel existence, life, in a different way, but also aims to add a new way of valuing the performance. By looking differently, within complete simplicity."Enlarging by emptying" sounds contradictory but works in a simple way: an empty room seems bigger than a full one. True essence demands throwing off all ballast. An emptiness filled with elusive dignity. Bodies attracting each other like minerals and magnets. Movement as expression of the deepest inner state... An emptiness that offers countless possibilities to be filled...

Atelier d'audition enfants (âgés de 8 à 13 ans) pour THE ROUND de Claire Croizé/ECCE
Pour sa nouvelle création THE ROUND, Claire Croizé/ECCE cherche des enfants âgés de 8 à 13 ans qui adorent danser. Quelques notions de technique en danse (tous les styles sont les bienvenus) ou un bon sens du mouvement et du rythme sont nécessaires. L’audition-atelier consistera à faire connaissance à travers divers exercices ludiques tels que l'improvisation, la création de matériel dansé ainsi que l'apprentissage de quelques phrases de danse. Une très grande place sera accordée à la créativité de l’enfant. L'audition est gratuite et les enfants de tous horizons sont les bienvenus! A partir de cette première rencontre le 30 mars à Ultima Vez ou le 13 avril à Dancingkids/Rosas, les participants seront sélectionnés pour une audition finale qui se déroulera le samedi 21 avril à Ultima Vez. NOUVEAU SPECTACLE - Infamous Offspring
Une famille moderne et hétéroclite inspirée de la mythologie grecque, tel est le point de départ d’Infamous Offspring, la nouvelle création de Wim Vandekeybus. Accompagné d’une nouvelle équipe de danseurs et d’acteurs et en collaboration avec la poétesse Fiona Benson, le chorégraphe s’aventure dans le labyrinthe des mythes anciens.
