Maureen Bator

Maureen Bator (she/her) is a choreographic artist and performer originally from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in France. She began her training at Coline Formation in Istres before joining P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels, where she is now based and develops her artistic work. In 2019, she joined Ultima Vez / Wim Vandekeybus for the creation Traces and continued collaborating with the company on later projects such as Hands Do Not Touch Your Precious Me and Scattered Memories. She also worked with Olivier de Sagazan on La Messe de l’Âne, and recently collaborated on the creations Machine à Spectacle by Solène Wachter and Dead Leaf by Nassim Baddag. In 2022, she co-created Pillow Safety with Sarah Deppe, a performance exploring bodily vulnerability and inertia. And in 2024, she developed her first choreographic work: Downfall, a piece for five youngsters produced by Passerelle, a platform for young dancers in Kortrijk.
