Carte Blanche

In February 1988 the Ancienne Belgique concert hall in Brussels presented the Belgian première of Wim Vandekeybus' debut performance What the Body Does Not Remember.

Almost twenty years later, Wim Vandekeybus gets carte blanche for a two-day festival in this very same Brussels' concert temple. He invites a host of artists from home and abroad: musicians he has worked with or who have inspired him during his career. It became an unforgettable weekend of festive big band sounds, punk rock, mystic folk, tender songs, electronic sounds, surprising visuals, films and countless surprise acts.

Artists & special guests: Woven Hand, Flat Earth Society, Marc Ribot, Eavesdropper, Pawlowski, Daan, The Blackbox Revelation, Arno, David Bovée & Benjamin Verdonck, Charo Calvo, Fanfakids, Walter Verdin.
