Inspired by a book of Italo Calvino, Elba & Federico tells the story of a couple in their day-to-day life. The man works at night, the woman during the day. The moments they meet in their tiny, sleazy apartment are of unexpected tenderness, but more often, of out of hand futilities and pent-up frustrations.

This short film was originally part of the performance Her Body Doesn’t Fit Her Soul (1993).
