Exhaustion from Dreamt Love

The Batsheva Dance Company's interpretation of Exhaustion from Dreamt Love was the first experience for Wim Vandekeybus in creating work for a company other than Ultima Vez.

For two years, Wim Vandekeybus turned down every offer to create a work for Batsheva. He had never choreographed for a company other than his own. The encounter between Wim Vandekeybus and the Batsheva dancers is stirring a great deal of interest in Israel and in the international dance community. For Vandekeybus and for Batsheva Exhaustion from Dreamt Love was a cultural and artistic challenge.
