Rent a Kid, no Bullshit! put on stage a group of youngsters between the ages of 5 and 18. From different disciplines and backgrounds they explored, with Wim Vandekeybus, the borders between music, theatre, dance and literature.

The musician/composer Fabian Fiorini got a bunch of enthusiastic young musicians going, composing the music for the performance.

Story tales, commercials, rap, aikido, contemporary dance, classical music, skating and kung fu: Vandekeybus mixed the ideas spouted during the improvisations, resulting in a performance during which the youngsters shout out their unvarnished opinions. They report on everything they have always wanted to say, but never managed to put into words, with humor, language, music and the body in an important role. In short: young energy challenged by Wim Vandekeybus to create poetical power.

Rent a kid, no Bullshit! was developed during an intensive 1-week workshop and several rehearsal weekends.
