Vacancy: Lighting Technician – September 2025

As a technician, you will share responsibility for the technical production and realization of all projects, both in-house and on tour, as well as technical support in the studio. We are looking for a third all-round technician specializing in lighting to strengthen our technical team. Tasks are always well distributed within the team. You will work both in our studio complex in Brussels and while on tour.

Your responsibilities

- Design lighting plans for new creations
- Prepare projects for touring, draft and maintain technical riders
- Prepare and execute the technical aspects of touring: feasibility, stage and lighting plans, equipment, workload, scheduling — all in constructive consultation with the technical teams at the venues
- Prepare and plan transport of sets (with partners)
- Contribute to developing a general technical framework for all activities within the available budget
- Assist in the coordination, management, and maintenance of the building, vehicles, technical equipment
- Maintain oversight of planning across the various phases of production (creation and touring)

Your profile
- Preferably experienced as a lighting technician in a company or theater
- Skilled with lighting consoles (Grand MA2), solid knowledge of programming and operating common digital lighting equipment
- Good IT skills (software such as Office, Autocad, Vectorworks, Resolume, QLab)
- Flexible with working hours and willing to travel regularly for tours
- A constructive, problem-solving, and supportive team player within a small crew
- Organized, resilient under pressure, and creative
- Fluent in English (Dutch and French are an asset)
- Holder of a category B driving license
