Ultima Vez is delighted to be organising another week of Atelier Quartier+. Exceptionally this week will be a collaboration between Bl!ndman and Ultima Vez.
Atelier Quartier+ in a nutshell
Designed as a moment of encounter around movement, it aims to give participants (dancers and people with no dance training alike are welcome) the chance to take time together, to research together and to try things out together in our dance studios.
The theme of the week in a nutshell
The workshop will be led by musician Ward De Ketelaere and dancer Alexandros Anastasiadis. They will be sharing personal experiences from their own fields, while creating a dialogue between all the participants. In search for theatrical possibilities, they will explore music and dance, using references from their own personal experience and history, but also getting inspired from the exercises and the group's propositions. Through games of creating sound and movement together, the participants will be composing small performative acts as an entire group. Participants are called to execute material based on their own capacities. An openness to do things for the first time is greatly appreciated.
