Atelier Quartier+ in a nutshell
Designed as a moment of encounter around movement, it aims to give participants (dancers and people with no dance training alike are welcome) the chance to take time together, to research together and to try things out together in our dance studios.
The theme of the week in a nutshell
The simple act of sharing the same space appeals to our social and emotional qualities and enables us to understand otherness through the body. To this end, Bodily Collective Inter-Dialogue* aims to create a safe, open space, where contemporary dance creates an encounter with the other, even at a distance, on an emotional, social or cultural level.
*Bodily Collective Inter-Dialogue is a research project by the artist Andrea Gallo Rosso, activated with the help of the "Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, Administration générale de la Culture, Service de la Danse" and "Migr-azioni / Italian Ministry of Culture - Boarding Pass Plus, supported by CeDAC Sardegna - Circuito Multidisciplinare Spettacolo da Vivo in dialogue with WIPCOOP", which the artist is continuing for a week as part of the Quartier + workshops at Ultima Vez.
